About Us

The concept of Moment in Thyme emerged during the COVID pandemic as a prospective catering company, but it failed to materialize. The name 'thyme' is derived from the Afrikaans word "tiemie", a culinary herb with plenty of depth and believed to be a source of courage. 

Nearly two years ago, my only daughter's relocation to the USA created a significant void in my life. This motivated me to actualize my dream, have courage and share my enthusiasm for beautiful things with other women. Our enterprise commenced with handcrafted Malawian products, later expanding to include boutique clothing and even handcrafted rosemary Salt, preserves & raw honey. Enjoy the journey with us.
